Petting Zoo

In August we were able to go a petting zoo with some friends. Reagan wasn't so sure about feeding the animals for quite awhile. It was a lot of fun to see all the different animals they had there and Reagan had fun going with friends. By the time we were ready to leave Reagan had gone from throwing the food at the animals to actually trying to get them to eat out of her hand. Such progress for my little girl!
 Kaylee feeding the goat!
 I really love alpacas!
 The camel!
Throwing the food! This was as close as Reagan would get till the very end!
The first time I have ever seen a Zdonkey!
 Just watching!
 Throwing more food!
 The Zebra!
Getting pretty close and feeding the deer!
 Watching Kaylee feed the goats!
Getting braver and feeding the goats too!
I think her hand might have actually touched the goat!
 Panning for pretty rocks!
 Admiring her treasures!
Pony ride! Always a fun time for Reagan!
Both girls looking in the same direction!
They are such good friends!

Even though it took Reagan a bit to warm up to feeding the animals, I think she had a good time and we are looking forward to visiting again!

Gatlinburg

Back in July, all of John's immediate family made a trip to Gatlinburg for a long weekend. We rented a chalet that we all stayed in so a  long weekend was long enough for me! :) We found plenty of things to keep us busy all weekend long!
 Our Family!
Grandma with the three little grandkids!
 The Whole Gang!
 Just our family!
 The Cousins!
 We hiked to Laurel Falls!

 Reagan loved the carousel!
High up in the chair lift!
Watch out! Reagan is driving the police car!
 All wet!
 Driving the train!
Getting ready to get on the chair lift again!
Bye Daddy! We are heading up the mountain!
 Reagan loved the water rides!
Half way up the very tall tower to another water slide!
Reagan is in the raft somewhere!
The view from the gondola ride!
 The view above Gatlinburg!
More mountain views!

We had a good family trip to Gatlinburg. We really enjoyed that we are only a couple hours from there now so the drive was bearable for all of us. I'm sure we will be back for some more fun in the near future!

Playing Putt Putt for the first time!

When we went on a trip to Gatlinburg back in July, Reagan got to play putt putt golf for the first time! If Daddy gets his way, this will lead Reagan to a love for real golf so Daddy can have a golf buddy. Reagan loved playing. Luckily there were several of us there, because Reagan was all over the course! She figured out it was much easier if she put her ball right by the hole and then hit it in. I guess she is a pretty smart little girl! We are looking forward to taking her again soon!
Getting it out of the hole!
Hitting the ball in the hole!
 Admiring her success!
Using your hands is always helpful to get the ball to the hole!
So close! Why didn't that ball go in?!

Big Girl Bed!

Once we moved into our house, it took us quite awhile to getting around to doing Reagan's room. Fortunately, we had an extra bedroom that she was able to use while we did her room. Once we did get her room done, we decided to go ahead and convert her crib to a big girl bed. We were a little nervous about how she would react to her new found freedom, but she has done so well! She even stays in her bed after she has woken up in the morning until we come and get her! Wonder how long that will last!
Seeing if it is comfortable enough to sleep in!
Checking the bed out with all of her "things"!
Verdict is...she LOVES it!

Our Patriotic Kiddo

Can you tell that I am super behind in my blog! Finally getting around to posting this picture of our super cute patriotic kiddo. I love this little girl so much!!!

First time at the Movies!

Over the summer, the movie theater in town shows $1 movies on Wednesday mornings. The movies are a little older but we don't mind. We hadn't ever taken Reagan to the movies since we weren't sure how she would act, but we figured at a dollar a ticket we wouldn't waste much money if she only lasted 5 minutes. Nevermind the popcorn that was way more expensive than the ticket! But Reagan likes popcorn and I figured eating it would keep her occupied for at least a little while. In case you are wondering, no she didn't eat the whole bag that was half her size! We even found a friend at the show that kept Reagan entertained until the movie started!
Yummy!
Digging in with both hands!

Reagan actually did really good. She stayed in her seat and we were there for the whole show. Towards the end she even crawled in my lap and feel asleep. I savored the cuddles because most of the time she is too busy to want to slow down and cuddle! Guess we can now take her to the movies..popcorn required!

Pretty Little Toenails

Yes, I can't believe either that Reagan was over 2 years old before I painted her toenails for the first time. Honestly, she never slows down during the day (except when she sleeps) to paint them. I had just painted my toes though, and once Reagan saw that, she wanted hers painted too. So, I strapped her in her booster seat to ensure she wouldn't be running away from me mid paint!
Pretty pink toenails!
Letting them dry before I let her loose!
My little cutie-patootie!
