Valentine's Day

Yes, I realize yesterday was Easter and I am just now getting around to posting about Valentine's Day. Maybe by Christmas I will learn how to do a better job of keeping up to date with the blog!
We typically don't do much for Valentine's Day. I'd like to think that we can show our love to each other on other days besides those designated on the calender. With Reagan around we tend to celebrate it just a little more though.

Reagan loves balloons! This balloon lasted a long time too!
It is only appropriate to get heart shaped pancakes for Breakfast (thanks to Daddy)!
Checking out her new VeggieTales DVD! This only made it through a couple viewings before Reagan got a hold of it when no one was looking and broke it in half! We have a destructive little girl on our hands!
Yummy!

After breakfast the day started off a little rough for Reagan. She got clawed pretty good on the face (which you can see in later pictures) while we were at the YMCA in the morning. She had two band-aids on her face when I went to pick her up but she is tough and didn't act like it bothered her. Then we went to a Valentine's party where she had lots of fun. I forgot my camera though so I don't have any pictures of that!

And this is what happens when you wait till evening to try and get a picture of her...

Quick...snap the camera before she moves again!
Do you remember me saying she was destructive?? I still love her more than words can express though!

Life is so much more fun with Reagan!

There is never a dull moment in our house with Reagan around. Even though there are times I wish it was a little dull around our house, at least for a few moments, I wouldn't trade the joy (and noise) she brings to our lives every day for anything!

She was so proud of herself for figuring out how to hide between the chairs!
She is definitely not sure what to think about shaving cream!
Still trying to figure it out!
She did eventually figure out it was fun to rub it on her arms!
And we finally get a smile out of her!
Who knew a ball pit would be so much fun!
Ellie likes to play in the balls too!
Getting buried!

There are no guarantees with Reagan but you can be pretty sure that whatever she does will be fun, messy and loud!

It is a good day when...

It is warm enough to play outside (this was from January) and you get to ride in your car!

Stopping long enough to actually get her picture taken!
I'm so cute...don't you agree!
Still amazed that she stopped moving long enough to get all these pictures!
If you stand in front of her car she is almost forced to let you take her picture!

It is even a better day when you get to eat a sucker after you are done playing!
Yummy!

Don't even try to take this away from me!

Pig Tails!

Reagan doesn't have a lot of hair, but I was finally able to get what hair she has up in pig tails! It didn't take her long to pull them out though! I do have to admit that this picture was actually from January and I am just now getting around to posting about it!

I think she looks so much older with her hair in pig tails!
Me and my big girl! Still can't believe how fast she is growing up!

The good thing about this post is it is short which means I might be able to get at least one more post done!

Our house finally has some pictures!

As usual, I am once again behind in my blogging! Since the beginning of the year, we have had visitors at our house, every weekend except two. Then last weekend we made a quick trip back to Cincinnati for Hazel's first birthday celebration. We love having visitors, but it means other things get put off getting done, but that is okay. They always still seem to be waiting for me when I finally get around to doing them!

We have been pretty slow decorating our house this time around. I think it was way back in January when John actually put these pictures up, so I'm only a couple months behind in getting it posted!

The wall before...very empty and boring!
The wall after...I love how it turned out!

Hopefully I will get some more blogging done soon so I'm not so behind!

Pinterest...my latest addiction!

I guess I was a little slow to jump on the pinterest bandwagon. My cousin's wife, Theresa, had mentioned it to me and when I finally got around to getting on it, I admit I spent most of the rest of the evening poking around on it and "pinning" lots of fun things. Needless to say, I don't think I got anything else done that night and as John would say...I was addicted! Now I just need to find the time to make and do everything I've pinned! I have found time to make a few things for Reagan and I've actually tried out several of the recipes I've pinned.
Reagan really loves dumping out all the balls and putting them back in the container! This game is a hit!
The cats especially like when Reagan decides she is done playing and leaves the balls on the floor. The cats like to carry them around in their mouths! (Which I find totally annoying because they cry the whole time they are carrying them. I run around trying to catch them to get the balls back)
Reagan loves taking wipes out of the container so I knew she would love this toy!
She quickly mastered how to get all the fabric pieces out of the container!

I didn't take any pictures of all the food I've made off of Pinterest, but we've liked almost all them. I'm looking forward to making some more and finding some time to make some of the other cool ideas I've found. I'm pretty sure my "Sweet Treats" board has the most pins...maybe I need to find a few more recipes for my "Gettin' Healthy" Board! If you haven't joined Pinterest yet, you should plan on not accomplishing anything else for a little while when you start "pinning"!

Mommy and Me Dance Class

A person at John's work told us about this dance studio in town that offers Mommy and Me Dance classes. I showed up to their open house and was a little reluctant to enroll Reagan because I figured she was still a little young for dance class. The owner of the dance studio told me she wasn't.(Of course she would!)
It is true that one of Reagan's favorite things is music and dancing. Her go to move is what we call the "trucker pull". She now even insists that she listen to music on one of our phones while we brush her teeth. She will remind you by saying, "Dance, Dance" should you attempt to brush her teeth without music playing.
I was still hesitant about enrolling Reagan in the dance class, but I did anyways. I figured it was only 6 weeks (one day a week) and if nothing else it would give Reagan another reason to wear the tutu Nana sent her for Christmas! Although she prefers to wear the tutu any chance she gets.
There was only 2 other girls in the class with Reagan...a 2 year old and a 4 year old. Needless to say, the four year old listened and tried to do what the teacher said and Reagan and the other 2 year old ran around and attempted to do some of what they are supposed to. Oh well...Reagan still had lots of fun, loved wearing her tutu, and enjoyed putting on and taking off her ballet slippers (over and over). And she got a sticker at the end of class which made it all worth it for Reagan.

Our little dancer!
It looks like she might even be dancing here.....
But in reality she was just reaching for Ellie!

Reagan did gain a little fame from her dancing. John's work puts out a monthly newspaper and a story about her was included in it! (Yeah, scrapbook material...if I ever found time to do that). Somehow we also won a gift card for the story, which almost made up for the cost of the dance class!
