YMCA Fall Festival and Trick or Treating

So before it is Thanksgiving, I figured I better get the pictures of Halloween posted! On the Friday before Halloween the YMCA hosted a fall festival. It was free, and an excuse for Reagan to wear her costume so we figured why not go. Like most things, Reagan would have had more to do if she was just a little bit older (like go in all the giant bouncy things), but they still had a room set up with toddler games which she seemed to be just fine with!
Trying on the costume. Reagan wasn't a big fan of the hood part!

Hood has quickly been removed and she is checking to make sure she can still dance in her costume!
Reagan really likes to pull the tunnel apart!
Cutest little duck butt I've seen!
Highlight prize of the night...cool yellow sunglasses!
Wearing her new shades to put the rings on tail!

Reagan's first tattoo!

Slinky's are always so much fun!

This is just what it looks like...TROUBLE! As you can see Reagan even wanted to wear her sunglasses with her jammies!

Since moving to Cleveland we have learned that Halloween is kind of a big thing around here. We aren't big into celebrating it, but it is fun to dress up Reagan and this year she was big enough to do a little trick or treating. One street in town is the most popular so we decided to check it out this year. We figure in the future we will probably be passing out candy at our house and taking Reagan around the neighborhood so this year was a good one to check it out. We went pretty early and I'm glad we did because it was already pretty busy when we got there and we heard it only gets busier as the night goes on.

"Look at that!" Notice Elmo in the background...Reagan has recently discovered him so maybe that will be her costume next year...unless she has moved onto another phase!
So cute!

Trick or Treating with Daddy!

If only you could see how cute it was when her butt actually waddled as she walked!

Mommy's turn!
Taking a little rest after trick or treating!
Mommy and her favorite little girl!
She took a sucker from her bucket and opened it all by herself!
That sucker sure was yummy..until Mommy took it away so I could take a bath! What a mean Mommy!
Reagan had fun carrying her treat bucket (she only dumped it a few times) and telling everyone that a duck says "quack, quack". We even made her walk most of the time so she would be nice and tired when we got home. Unfortunately, that little girl has so much energy that it didn't seem to phase her much! Lots of fun was had by all though.

Hopefully soon I will find time to blog about our new house (which we are finally living in). We are also looking forward to seeing lots of friends and family next week for Thanksgiving!

Apple Festival and Church Fall Festival

Okay, I admit...it has been too long since my last post. (at least for anyone anxious to see pictures of Reagan) At least there is facebook though and I have posted some recent pictures there. My goal was really to try and post on the blog at least once a week. I guess I didn't really succeed with that! I have lots of excuses but I won't bore you with those.

So a few weeks ago we checked out the Apple Festival in town with some new friends. Honestly, we weren't too impressed. For being the apple festival there wasn't much "apple" stuff. One small booth selling baked apple goods (which by the way the fried apple pies were pretty good) and some politician was giving out apples! Other than that it was your typical festival booths and after about 20 minutes we had seen everything there was to see. We did find a couple fun things for Reagan to do though!

Pony Ride...although it seemed more like a horse than a pony to me!
She loved riding and wasn't scared at all. Guess we need to go to Aunt Yvette's house to ride her horse sometime!
Riding in the barrel train!
So cute that just her head stuck out!

We decided we could have more fun at the park and headed there when we left for playtime and lunch! Too bad I didn't get any pictures of Reagan with her new friend Kaylee!

We also checked out the fall festival our church had a few weeks ago.  Reagan had lots of fun on the inflatable bouncy thing ( I am pretty sure that is the official name for it!), checking out all the animals, going on a pony ride and taking a hayride.
She loved this thing!
The slide was definitely her favorite. Wish I had a picture of her going head first. She thought that was hilarious!
Not too sure about that goat!
She was going in for a pet here, not a hit, as it would appear!
Look..we are not forcing her to pet an animal..she is doing it on her own!
Now this looks more like a pony ride! Two times now..Reagan is an expert now, right?!
Mommy and Reagan on the hayride!

Other things that have kept us busy, and which I hope to blog about eventually are the YMCA Fall Festival, the purchase of our new house (which we hope to move into in a few weeks) and Trick or Treating!
