Another year older!

Way back in the end of February I turned another year older! At least I can always say I am younger than John even when the birthday number is something I'd rather not remember! This was my second birthday as a Mommy and Reagan wanted to make sure I remembered this one! The day before, she ended up with a tummy bug so lucky me got to start off by cleaning up puke!

John tried to make up for it by getting up early and fixing me a yummy birthday breakfast and he even decorated the kitchen with lots of pink balloons and streamers! Oopps! We forgot to take any pictures of any of that though! Reagan gave me another present of puke after she woke up so we got to spend the majority of the morning at the doctors office.

Me and my little sick pumpkin!
Despite Reagan being sick, my Dad and Stepmom came down to spend the weekend with us!
Flowers from John!
According to the candles, I am only 8! John's family also sent some pretty flowers!
Maybe 8 candles is all I can blow out!

The next day we decided to drive down to Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. Reagan seemed to be a little better and I told John he was responsible for cleaning up any puke in the car! :)
Our little family!
Grams, Reagan and Papaw!
The view of Chattanooga!
It was pretty windy and much colder than we expected at the top!

There is quite a bit to do on Lookout Mountain and we plan on checking some of it out, but next time we hope to go when Reagan isn't sick! It turned out to be a pretty fun birthday weekend, even if my little bit was sick. I guess that is the life of a Mommy and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Visitors!

Since the beginning of this year we have had quite a few visitors, which we have loved because the hardest part of moving was leaving our family and friends behind in Cincinnati. Although we have been without visitors for close to 2 months so maybe they don't like visiting as much as we like having them! :)

Unfortunatly, I haven't been very good at taking pictures when we've had visitors. Kirk, Paula and Hazel came for a whole weekend and this is the only picture I took...and it is of my own kid!

Although she is smiling I don't think she was happy to have them leave!

I got a little better with the pictures when Steve, Laura, Ady and Ella came to visit.
All three girls loved playing in the ball pit! Surprisingly they all fit in it and played really well together! By the way, I have no idea what Reagan is doing in this picture!

Of course we had to go to Jumpin' Junction while they were here. It is close, cheap and fun for all the kids!
Reagan and Daddy getting ready to go down the slide!
Ady having fun!
Laura and Ella! I wish I had taken a picture of Steve going down the slide. He used Ella as his excuse, but I think secretly he was having as much fun as Ella on it!
Reagan always loves spending time in the car when we are there!

Can't believe we got a picture of all three of them looking in the same general direction! Such a cute bunch of girls!

We always have so much fun when we have visitors! You are welcome anytime!

Valentine's Day

Yes, I realize yesterday was Easter and I am just now getting around to posting about Valentine's Day. Maybe by Christmas I will learn how to do a better job of keeping up to date with the blog!
We typically don't do much for Valentine's Day. I'd like to think that we can show our love to each other on other days besides those designated on the calender. With Reagan around we tend to celebrate it just a little more though.

Reagan loves balloons! This balloon lasted a long time too!
It is only appropriate to get heart shaped pancakes for Breakfast (thanks to Daddy)!
Checking out her new VeggieTales DVD! This only made it through a couple viewings before Reagan got a hold of it when no one was looking and broke it in half! We have a destructive little girl on our hands!
Yummy!

After breakfast the day started off a little rough for Reagan. She got clawed pretty good on the face (which you can see in later pictures) while we were at the YMCA in the morning. She had two band-aids on her face when I went to pick her up but she is tough and didn't act like it bothered her. Then we went to a Valentine's party where she had lots of fun. I forgot my camera though so I don't have any pictures of that!

And this is what happens when you wait till evening to try and get a picture of her...

Quick...snap the camera before she moves again!
Do you remember me saying she was destructive?? I still love her more than words can express though!

Life is so much more fun with Reagan!

There is never a dull moment in our house with Reagan around. Even though there are times I wish it was a little dull around our house, at least for a few moments, I wouldn't trade the joy (and noise) she brings to our lives every day for anything!

She was so proud of herself for figuring out how to hide between the chairs!
She is definitely not sure what to think about shaving cream!
Still trying to figure it out!
She did eventually figure out it was fun to rub it on her arms!
And we finally get a smile out of her!
Who knew a ball pit would be so much fun!
Ellie likes to play in the balls too!
Getting buried!

There are no guarantees with Reagan but you can be pretty sure that whatever she does will be fun, messy and loud!

It is a good day when...

It is warm enough to play outside (this was from January) and you get to ride in your car!

Stopping long enough to actually get her picture taken!
I'm so cute...don't you agree!
Still amazed that she stopped moving long enough to get all these pictures!
If you stand in front of her car she is almost forced to let you take her picture!

It is even a better day when you get to eat a sucker after you are done playing!
Yummy!

Don't even try to take this away from me!

Pig Tails!

Reagan doesn't have a lot of hair, but I was finally able to get what hair she has up in pig tails! It didn't take her long to pull them out though! I do have to admit that this picture was actually from January and I am just now getting around to posting about it!

I think she looks so much older with her hair in pig tails!
Me and my big girl! Still can't believe how fast she is growing up!

The good thing about this post is it is short which means I might be able to get at least one more post done!
